|Project Description||The center was established at the site of HPP Una, and from this location management and monitoring of remote facilities is done (mini hydropower plants Bihać and Krušnica and HPP Una). This SCADA system in addition to the functions of IT support for production center management performs the functions of the local system monitoring and management of production of HPP Una. Installed power of four generators in HPP Una is 4×2,5 MVA. Nominal voltage of the generator is 6.3 kV and after transformation to the 35 kV, it is connected to the electric power system. At the HPP Una site five Schneider Electric Modicon Quantum PLC devices are connected in optical network through Modbus plus protocol after which ProLinx server gateway is converting from Modbus Plus to IEC 60870-5-104 protocol towards SCADA. One PLC is intended for control and monitoring of each installed generator and one group PLC device is used for control and regulation of generator and collecting information from 35 kV facility. Schneider Electric Twido PLC is used for transmission of information from mini hydropower plants (Bihać and Krušnica) over Modbus RTU protocol and forwarding information to distribution center ED Bihać (DCU ED Bihać) with ABB RTU560 telemetric device through IEC 60870-5-101 protocol.
The scope of this project was the following: purchase of hardware and software of SCADA systems in the PCU, the introduction of all required information in the SCADA system, realization of functions in the SCADA system for local control and production management of HPP Una, forwarding appropriate information to distribution center ED Bihać (DCU ED Bihać), SAT, functional testing and commissioning.
The protocols used for the introduction of information in this SCADA system are: IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-101, Modbus TCP /IP.
